Commitment to Community is something the Nicholas Law Firm takes very seriously. From an early age, Attorney Nicholas’ family impressed upon him the importance of volunteering one’s time and money to noble causes. As such, Attorney Nicholas has served the Northwest Connecticut community as a Life Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and his teen efforts earned him the prestigious Marinko award in recognition of a high school senior athlete who best exemplifies the qualities of athletic ability, courage, integrity, leadership, scholarship, service and versatility. Attorney Nicholas has sought to instill those same qualities in his family. His daughter Jackie, now a Princeton graduate, became the first family repeat recipient of the eight school Berkshire League Marinko award in 2011.
Here at the Nicholas Law Firm, we recognize that with success comes responsibility. The Torrington and Waterbury communities are great places to live, build a business, or raise a family. That’s why we make a concerted effort to give back to the communities that help us to exist in the first place. We have pursued earth-friendly policies since the firm’s inception and we continue those green policies at our office today. NLF has sponsored blood drives for the Red Cross and Attorney Nicholas is approaching the nine gallon donation mark himself.
